Meet Sam Forstag:

Sam Forstag is running for Congress in Montana, where voters are upset about the shape of the economy and the country. As the New York Times describes it:

Sam tells the Guardian about how voters are feeling:

‘We’re in another war, in Iran, that nobody wants, talking about hundreds of billions of dollars,’ he said. ‘That is not helping anybody’s life here in the States.’

Meet Chuck Borges:

Chuck Borges, running for State Senate in Maryland, protected America’s Social Security data when DOGE was ransacking the Social Security Administration. This was his warning to the New York Times:

Should bad actors gain access to this cloud environment, Americans may be susceptible to widespread identity theft, may lose vital health care and food benefits, and the government may be responsible for reissuing every American a new Social Security number at great cost….

Chuck Borges is the Democratic nominee for Maryland State Senate in District 29, representing communities in St. Mary’s and Calvert counties. He is a 23-year U.S. Navy veteran and retired commander, Borges served in Iraq and was decorated for valor before continuing his public service in federal technology and data leadership roles at the CDC, Office of Management and Budget, and Social Security Administration.

As Social Security’s Chief Data Officer, Borges became a prominent DOGE whistleblower after raising concerns about access to Americans’ sensitive personal data.

He is now running for the Maryland State Senate with a focus on affordable housing, economic opportunity, supporting families, protecting natural resources, and ethical government.
