RSVP for Sunday’s PDA Progressive Town Hall: Democrats are United and We Must and Will Win!

Oct 30, 2026 | PDA News

Please attend our Progressive Town Hall this Sunday. RSVP Here.

We will learn the best ways for PDA activists to support and get directly involved in election protection efforts across the country, including where they can report any intimidation tactics they witness or any activity designed to interfere with people’s right to vote.

PDA’s message to all progressives is clear:  Now is not the time for intra-party squabbling. We cannot, we must not, make the same mistake that the German people made in 1933 when the left divided and the Nazis ascended.

Our two featured guests are expecting big things on Tuesday! RSVP here.

Mai Vang, who joined our Progressive Town Hall this past winter, is on the verge of winning a hard-fought congressional race in the Sacramento area. California’s capital city could soon have a progressive champion in Congress, a victory that would help reshape what’s possible in both California and national politics.

Julie Fortier is running for Congress in Southern Illinois, in a district that stretches from the Illinois side of the St. Louis suburbs all the way south to the Ohio River. She is fighting to bring bold, progressive leadership to a region where working families deserve a stronger voice in Washington.

Both candidates represent the kind of grassroots progressive leadership we need in Congress, and both are looking to make history on Tuesday!

We must act again as Americans did in 1933 when we elected a Democratic Party that successfully marginalized reactionary politics in America and proceeded to crush fascism around the world.

Yes, progressive and moderate Democrats have our differences, and these are not insignificant, but we are united by our support for our constitutional democratic republic. On Tuesday we will stand shoulder-to-shoulder, working to defeat the oligarchs and fascists and preserve all that is great about America. RSVP here.

See you on Sunday,

Alan Minsky and the PDA Team
