On April 5, we’re joining a massive coalition of national and local organizations, including Indivisible, Move On, Common Cause, Public Citizen, Color of Change, Social Security Works, and many others to come together across the country to organize for Hands Off: a national mass activation to stop the Trump-Musk billionaire takeover.
Elon Musk, an unelected billionaire, has been handed unchecked power over parts of our government through his so-called “Department” of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
Day by day, Musk has been dismantling public services, forcing out experienced public servants, and using government power to serve himself and his wealthy allies—without accountability to the people.
That’s why, on April 5th, we’re coming together to say, “Hands off!” Hands off our Social Security, Healthcare, Public Schools, and Democracy!
As of today, you can register to attend protests in cities across the country, with more being added daily.

As a senior Citizen and Veteran of Woman’s Army Corp and US Army, I would ask you to include Veterans benefits and medical care. We already have a shortage of doctors before Trump cuts, specialist appoints take 6 months apart to get seen and follow ups, basically a year and a half to diagnosis!!! Hello Indivisibles USA. Our local Indivisible group is facilitating the writing of a multi-voice letter to the Democratic National Committee. We’re calling it “The 2028 Instruction List, Of the People, By the People & For the People” We’re bringing a loud speaker with a microphone, long table, a HUGE roll of baker’s paper and 50 markers. We plan to invite every passerby to take 2 minutes and speak their NON-VIOLENT mind and then write it down on our roll of paper. As the folks write their message on the Paper, we write down the name of the general issue on a hanging white board to show others what their neighbors are thinking. We plan to go to every “Free Speech” event until the roll is filled up . Hopefully the DNC will receive 100s of these before we begin the primary processes.
