Contact Your Congresspeople Now in Support of the Billionaires Tax

We need you to contact your House and Senate members and tell them to support Sen. Ron Wyden’s Billionaires Tax.

The Hill reports: “The proposal unveiled by Senate Finance Committee Chairman Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) would tax the investment gains by billionaires annually, a shift from present law that only taxes such gains when an investment is sold. Any individual making more than $100 million per year for three years in a row or anyone who has $1 billion in collective assets would be covered by the tax.”

Click here for your US House member, and here for your US Senator. Calls are more effective than emails.

Then please let us know once you’ve acted.

They’ll be voting soon, so please act now.

Thanks so much for anything you can do.

This is Drew Makarwich. I would believe that billionaire have more dues or money that could be taxed . Although it should won by champion cause or rally member. The Billionaire could donate more or allocate the funds toward a greater need. We would seem this paramount.

First I am a centrist democrat and do see the need for some of the progressive ideas, but you guys are going about this all wrong. You must walk before you run, take what is on the table, and get out and sell what you achieved. 2022 is looming, we need to spend the rest of the time working to keep or grow the majorities. history shows the mid term is not kind to the new president. So if you dont want a bunch of republican BS shoved down are throats from 2022-2024 and TRUMP back in the White House – stop the gamesmenship. You are setting the table for the end of democracy
