The Democratic National Committee will be holding a national delegates meeting this week in LA. We’re anchoring a free forum down the street as well as streaming it live during our regularly scheduled weekly Campaign to Victory call.

There are two overarching goals for the forum: 

     1. To highlight that progressive policies are very popular among the general public – and, notably, this is especially true of our economic proposals. Since poll after poll shows that economic concerns are the primary concern of most American voters, this puts progressives in a very strong position. (Of course, unwavering support for the Labor Movement is foundational for progressives.)

     2. To show that progressives have established a significant presence in the Party in recent years. Although there have been barriers created to frustrate progressives from increasing their presence and influence in the party, now is not the time to back down. More progressives should become active in the Party.
