Each month our Disabilities Issue Organizing Team discusses issues important to the community, and legislation and candidates for office who can help make the world a better place for anyone facing challenges.Tonight we’ll cover how the big win for Adelita Grijalva in AZ on Tuesday is good news for the disabled community, We’ll also discuss how we combat MAGA as we stand up for the community, with special focus on justice and members of the community running for office. Our Special Guest Speaker will be Nikki Villavicencio, City of Maplewood, Minnesota’s first disabled council member, and fierce advocate for rights and justice for the disabled community. We’ll lay out how all of us can make a real difference. |
