Sunday: PDA-endorsed Candidate Robert Peters (IL-02), plus why we need local media more than ever
Join us this Sunday at 4pm ET/1pm PT for our weekly Progressive Town Hall.
Register here for the Zoom invitation.
Its a Super Town Hall with Progressive Congressional candidate Robert Peters running to fill an open seat in Illinois as the primary season commences.
Also, the collapse of local journalism has fueled the crisis of American democracy. Bart Sullivan will present a successful DIY remedy.
tI’s still too close to call but following Analilia Mejia’s brilliant campaign and what looks like a victory in NJ-11, progressives have the momentum inside the Democratic Party and we’re poised to build upon that momentum across the 2026 primary season.
On March 3rd, the 2026 primary season officially begins in five states. State Senator Robert Peters returns to our Town Hall to update us on his race to win the open seat in Illinois’ 2nd District (March 17).
Robert was the first non-incumbent candidate that PDA endorsed for Congress in the 2026 cycle. We did so because Robert is a true progressive, who has been fighting the good fight his entire life. If we want to see Medicare for All, affordable housing, a just economy and a just justice system, we have to lift progressives like Robert Peters to victory in the 2026 primaries – and that’s exactly what PDA plans to do in the 2026 primaries.
Come hear all about it with Robert Peters this Sunday at 4pm ET/3pm CT/2pm MT/1pm PT. RSVP now!
Then in the second hour of the Town Hall, we’ll hear from progressive Democratic activist Bart Sullivan about his community focused media project, and how it helps make Solano County, California, a more progressive place.
Sincerely,
Alan Minsky and the National PDA Team
