Tell Congress we need a Green New Deal!

Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) has had another hectic week. Trump’s increasingly erratic behavior shut down the federal government over his demands for a wasteful, racist wall, and he threatens to cause even more chaos. PDA and our partners are calling on Congress to defend the treaty that bans intermediate-range nuclear missiles (INF). Experts are alarmed that pulling out of the treaty will heighten the risks of nuclear war. Click here to contact your Representative and both of your Senators.

Tell Congress we need a Green New Deal! Scientists warn we have one decade to act. The Green New Deal would address the climate emergency and help create millions of new living wage jobs! Join more than 1,000 activists who contacted Congress for the Green New Deal in just one day last week! Help us gain more cosponsors in Congress. Click here to contact your elected officials.

Tell Congress to honor our obligations to migrants

Use our Action Alert to tell your members of Congress
not to cave to Trump’s childish demands for a border wall

Reminder: sign up to help host a Medicare for All (MFA) Barnstorming Tour event, working with National Nurses United and our other allies organizing events to help us achieve Medicare For All.

Please contact your Representative and urge him or her to join the Medicare for All Caucus.Remember to share this action alert on social media and with your friends (Note: please remain patient if the action alert system is still connecting you with a recently defeated or retired Senator or Representative. Updates are in progress.)

We need the inspiring leadership of PDA-endorsed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee. Sign this petition to help us build pressure to get AOC on Ways and Means, (and other progressives on important House committees).

Thanks to Bernie’s leadership and your activism, the Senate passed a resolution to end U.S. support for the Saudi-led slaughter in Yemen. Sign this petition to help PDA Advisory Board member Rep. Barbara Lee force Paul Ryan to bring the resolution to to an up or down vote in the House.

With your help, PDA will continue building capacity, working to bring together and mobilize allied organizations and activists like you to accomplish great things. Your monthly donation of $100, $27, $10, or $5 gives us the resources we need to sustain the struggle for peace, healthcare as a human right, the climate, clean and fair elections, social and economic justice, ending corporate rule, and so much more.

We don’t get a dime from corporations. We rely exclusively on support from activists like you. To build on our midterm successes, we need your help now! Please sign up now to make automatic monthly sustaining gifts or a generous one-time gift now.

If you can give $5 per month, that’s great! $10? Wonderful! $27? Spectacular! Whatever you can spare will help keep us working for you. Thanks so much for anything you can do right now to help us reach our goal of 100 new monthly sustainers by New Years.

Thank you so much for supporting PDA and our shared efforts for progress! We appreciate you more than words can say.

In solidarity,

Mike Hersh for Alan, Mike F., Janis, Deb, Dan, Dr. Bill, Kim, Bryan, and Shayna—your PDA National Team
