We’ve been working hard this week to combat gun violence, address the Climate Emergency, promote the 21st-Century Economic Bill of Rights, bring peace to Ukraine and beyond, defend women’s rights, support racial justice, and preserve democracy itself by contacting Congress, hitting the streets, and working to elect top-shelf progressive candidates with primaries on Tuesday, June 7.

Yeah, we’ve been kinda busy. And that’s not changing.

So join PDA activists nationwide, in every state of the union, as we show solidarity with each other and our community as a whole to make the world a better place for all.

Pick one or more of these actions/projects, and let’s make some noise together!

• Progressive Virtual Town Hall Sunday: Getting Healthcare for All by Electing Progressives. Featuring progressive rock star congressional candidates Donna Edwards and Kylie Taitano as we discuss how we make healthcare a human right, and more. RSVP here
• Join the National Phone Team Doing GOTV for Tuesday, June 7, Primaries. Make easy calls from home to fellow PDA folks to ensure they’re in the know about the election and our endorsed candidates. We work 7 days a week, so whenever is good for you is go.
• Wear Orange Today and Sunday, and Join a Rally to Help Curb Gun Violence. If you’re up for joining a rally near you on June 11, let us know and we’ll get you connected.
• As part of a nationwide coalition we’re holding COVID-safe, public events where we’ll watch the hearings during prime time (8pm ET), hopefully attract media attention to each event, and discuss the next steps we all must take to ensure the Trumpists don’t destroy our democracy. Let us know if you’d like to attend one near you and we’ll get you connected.
• Become a local Congressional Office Liaison. Work with others in your area to promote progressive legislation. Sign up here and we’ll get you all the training you need to be successful.
• For “Clicktivists”: Tell the Senate to End The Filibuster on Gun Safety. Sign the petition to support Bernie’s new Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Bill. Sign the petition to Senators Murkowski and Collins to tell them to atone for their support of right-wing judges. Tell Congress to make the nation’s first Climate Reserve. Tell Congress to pass a tax on major carbon-based fuel companies. Tell President Biden to use his powers to ramp up a green response to Putin and rising fuel prices.
