Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) is celebrating Medicare for All (MFA) Monday by stepping up our coalition work for Healthcare as a Human Right. We’re mobilizing for new and improved MFA legislation in the new Congress. We’re raising money to send Dr. Bill Honigman all around the USA to help raise awareness and activate progressives. Our allies National Nurses United (NNU) are leading the way with a barnstorming tour. We need your help to organize an event in your community during the week of February 9th – 13th as part of the National Medicare for All Week of Action. There will be training calls to learn more about how to organize a barnstorm and what you can do now to get started. Contact Mike Fox to get involved!

Dr. Bill puts his heart, soul, and shoe leather into organizing for Improved Medicare For All. He’s $1000s out of pocket. Will you help? We’re working with our allies including Social Security Works, our sister organization People Demanding Action, and many others to combat the exploitative practices of Big Pharma. Progressive Democrats of America strongly endorses the Bernie Sanders / Ro Khanna Drug Pricing Bill.

We desperately need this legislation to prevent price gouging and profiteering as widely reported in U.S. media. Currently, pharmaceutical corporations overcharge U.S. patients and taxpayers—often at several multiples of prices in other nations such as Canada and the U.K.—and far in excess of the costs to develop, manufacture, and market these medications. This legislation would stabilize and lower the costs we pay and bring pricing into line with the prices paid in the rest of the world. Stay tuned for ways you can help! For now….
