We are thankful that 2018 saw the highest turnout among eligible voters in a midterm election in over a century!

We are thankful for the millions of progressives around the country who were the backbone of the Democratic Party’s Registration and Get Out the Vote campaigns.

We are thankful that Republican voter suppression schemes were exposed like never before and that the movement for true universal voter registration and rights is now a Democratic Party priority.

We are thankful that support for progressive policies continues to grow across the country.

We are thankful that the words “Medicare For All” are now on everyone’s lips whenever the health care crisis is discussed.

We are thankful for the beautiful planet that we are blessed to inhabit.

We are thankful for the climate activists who are fighting to save the earth for humanity and all living creatures.

We are thankful for the progressive politicians who are preparing legislation that truly addresses the climate emergency.

We are thankful for the social justice activists who call out the myriad injustices that plaque our society.

We are thankful for PDA’s inside-outside strategy that delivers the message of these activists into the halls of power.

Most importantly, we are thankful for each other because we know that the good-hearted vastly outnumber the wicked and those blinded by greed, and that progressives across the country are infused with energy and confidence that together we can build a more just and caring world.
