While first and foremost we’re about human beings talking to human beings, either at the door, events, or on the phone, we do recognize that online action can play an important role in the mix.

Each month our Disabilities Issue Organizing Team discusses issues important to the community, and legislation and candidates for office who can help make the world a better place for anyone facing challenges.

Our special focus this month is disabilities justice and folks in the community running for office. Our Special Guest Speaker will be Nikki Villavicencio, City of Maplewood, Minnesota’s first disabled council member, and fierce advocate for rights and justice for the disabled community.
