TELL YOUR SENATORS TO SIGN ON AS COSPONSORS
Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) is a leader in the struggle to decisively confront the Climate Emergency. A historic Concurrent Congressional Resolution on the Climate Emergency was announced last week. The deadline for original cosponsorship was extended. So please don’t wait. Call now.
- Call the Capitol Hill switchboard at (202) 224-3121. They will connect you with your Senators’ offices.
- Ask to speak with the staffer working on environmental issues or the Chief of Staff. (If they’re not available, ask to leave a voice mail.)
- Tell them the Climate Emergency can’t wait. You expect them to be on the right side of history by joining the quickly growing list of original cosponsors of the Concurrent Resolution declaring a Climate Emergency.
- Invite them to join Senators Bernie Sanders, Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Jeff Merkley, Amy Klobuchar, and Kirsten Gillibrand as an Original Co-Sponsor of the historic Climate Emergency Resolution.

A concurrent Climate Emergency Resolution was introduced into the Congress. The resolution demands national, social, industrial, and economic mobilization at a massive scale to address the Climate Emergency. This is historic!

Time is running short. Scientists warn we have less than a decade to fundamentally update our energy, transportation, and other systems. The time is long past when the climate emergency can be considered just one issue among many. PDA is an essential leader in this existential struggle. It’s the right thing to do at the right time!
We have an existential climate emergency that needs urgent attention!! This should also be a top priority issue in the 2020 campaign.
as naturalists or darwinists, why do you fight against your own belief? If it indeed was created in chaos, and all this is an accident with no purpose, what exactly are you fighting for and against? It is natural selection removing the weak with COVID19? Yes. Would not the hysteria that is climate change going to take care of the false narrative of over population? Yes.
So what is it you are railing against? Your foundational beliefs? That is very illogical.
We can’t fight for any of our issues if we become extinct.
The Climate Emergency is NOT one issue! It affects every issue! We need a national debate and action!!
