Trump’s vitriolic and incendiary rhetoric emboldens white supremacists throughout our country and around the world. Conservative judges are being confirmed by his Senate enablers at an historic pace, reshaping the judiciary into a corporate and culturally conservative bastion for decades to come.

Ignoring the rule of law and threatening violence against political opponents and the free press, this President eschews moral and ethical standards with gleeful abandon. Our international allies can no longer rely on the U.S., and dictators know they can commit atrocities without accountability.

Assaults on consumer and environmental protections proceed at a frenetic pace, increasing toxic emissions to air and water, and allowing more toxins into our food supply. Quality and availability of health care continue to decline as costs of services and medications spiral out of control in the name of corporate profits. The Republican-sponsored tax scam enriches the ultra-wealthy, leaving the rest of us and generations to come burdened with an exploding national deficit.
