Last weekend, I was honored to represent Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) at the huge Progressive Gathering in Burlington, Vermont. The Sanders Institute brought together progressive leaders from around the country and the world. The Gathering was organized around a series of panel discussions on the central tenets of a contemporary progressive agenda; with an emphasis on how all the issues intersect. It was one of the most impressive events I have ever attended. Every participant brought their A Game, inspired by an understanding that progressive policies are more popular today than at any time in recent decades. I felt re-energized to work for progress. The conference was packed with PDA partners and allies. It was great to meet with them in person. PDA is not just aligned with the cutting edge of the progressive movement; we are an integral partner in that movement. We progressives have a world to win; and the victories we achieve will improve the lives of average people across the country and the world.
