Help Realize Dr. King’s Dream; Demand
That The DOJ Protect Our Elections Now!

Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) was founded in 2004 to achieve progress on key priorities, among them clean, fair, open and transparent elections. We must not lose sight of the need for accurate, inclusive elections even as the 2020 presidential election cycle is beginning. Monday we celebrated a national holiday honoring Dr. Martin Luther King—a champion for voting rights, economic and racial equality, peace, and so much more. Four decades after MLK’s assassination, our elections are still marred by outrageous violations—notably in Dr. King’s home state!

Stacey Abrams is inspiring and brilliant. She should be Governor of Georgia, and would be but for dirty tricks by her opponent Brian Kemp—who as Secretary of State was responsible for protecting voting rights in Georgia. Instead, he violated his oath of office and stole the gubernatorial election for himself. Please click here to sign the petition demanding that the Department of Justice address widespread elections violations in Georgia. This petition closes Monday, so act now.

Tell The Dept. of Justice We Must Have Legitimate Elections

We Demand Elections We Can Trust!

PDA is fighting for social and economic justice for all. LGBTQIA+ Americans are threatened by unjust firings, evictions, and other discrimination without any legal recourse. Even worse: In 2018, the Trump administration rolled back already-limited protections and introduced harmful policies that further marginalized vulnerable populations nationwide. Action is overdue. Please click here to sign the petition to tell Congress to protect LGBTQIA+ Americans now.

PDA has supported healthcare as human right since our founding. Rep. Pramila Jayapal is about to sponsor the best healthcare legislation in U.S. History! Join us supporting #MedicareForAll / #SinglePayer healthcare as a human right. Click here.

We won a huge victory this week, thanks your work to keep Congress resolute against Trump’s impotent, expensive Wall. We stood shoulder to shoulder with activists around the nation. We celebrate forcing Trump to back down—but our victory is only temporary. We shut down the Donald Trump-Mitch McConnell shutdown, but only for three weeks. They can force another shut down showdown after that. Please use and share this action alert to Tell Congress to Keep Our Government Open With No Wall

PDA will never stop fighting for peace and Medicare for All (Healthcare Not Warfare), economic and social justice for all, real democracy, equality for all, stopping global warming, ending corporate rule, and other progressive policies. Will you help? Please pitch in whatever you can afford to support our organizing for progressive wins in 2020.

In solidarity,
