Why I’m A Monthly PDA Donor And Why I Hope You’ll Join Me

Get The Biggest Bang For Your Progressive Buck

I started making monthly contributions to Progressive Democrats of America back in 2008, when I was a volunteer state coordinator.

I had been involved in political activism for several years at that point, and had given to multiple organizations and candidates.

I was impressed by founder Tim Carpenter’s unyielding work ethic and focus on placing the funding where it needed to be: on the ground and in campaigns and not in fancy offices and huge salaries for staff and consultants.

I’ve seen this vision thrive as I’ve become more involved in PDA, and after Tim unfortunately passed away.

Today, I can confidently say that there’s no political organization out there that gets more bang out of every contributed buck than PDA.

From our Healthcare Not Warfare and Climate Emergency campaigns, to work for social, economic and racial justice, to putting an end to the corporate domination of our political process, to helping to get true progressive champions like Bernie, AOC,  Barbara Lee, and many others elected, PDA has always been loudly and proudly out front as we attempt to drag the Democratic Party kicking and screaming back to its FDR/Bobby Kennedy roots.

And all along the way we’ve made a difference while operating with a budget much smaller than the organizations out there with large corporate and other institutional donors.

We depend upon contributions from just regular folks like you and me.

Will you join me and become a monthly Change Makes Change Sustaining Partner today?

While we do have a handful of angels who contribute over $100 per month, any amount — $50, $20, $10, even $5 per month — is greatly appreciated and will be put to judicious use.

Help us make an even bigger bang this year as we combat the remnants of Trumpism and help make the world a more progressive place for all.

Thanks so much for anything you can do.
