PDA is a founding member of the Cancel Student Debt Coalition along with Freedom to Prosper. Right now, in response to the COVID-19 crisis, student debt is receiving more attention in Congress than ever before.
Help PDA in our efforts to provide debt relief to tens-of-millions of Americans in their hour of need.
Momentum is building for full student debt cancellation. Yesterday, Senate Democrats unveiled a proposal for the federal government to make payments on behalf of borrowers during the coronavirus outbreak. Each borrower would receive a minimum of $10,000 in student loan relief over the course of the national emergency. That’s a great start.

If we cancel all student debt, those payments would end, putting billions of dollars back into the economy. This is only the beginning of freeing 46 million Americans and their families.
