Building Upon Victories
From accountability for the murder of George Floyd, to global action for Earth Day week and President Biden’s historic Climate Summit, to DC Statehood passed in the House, we’ve seen some reasons to be optimistic come along this past week.
But of course, our work is far from over. From shocking gun violence numbers, unsettling worldwide COVID-19 case numbers, and a Republican Party showing no signs of becoming saner, we must continue our work to make the U.S. and the world a more progressive and just place for all.
Together, we can make the change we so desperately need happen!
