Tell The Senate to Pass The DREAM Act

DREAMers Protesting In A Senate Office
Thursday, the U.S. Supreme Court handed down a mixed decision on the 2012 Obama-era program called Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). The Court held that in his mad rush to attack DREAMers, Trump failed to follow procedures. This is a temporary victory, because unless Congress acts, Trump can just try again, this time with more premeditation.
Friday, the nation marked Juneteenth. Demonstrations for racial justice continue throughout the weekend. PDA joins demands to Defund the Police, Invest in Black Communities, and Call for the Resignation of Donald Trump.
Our elections and voting rights are at risk! Read 2020 Voters’ Calendar—The General Election Starts in August by Stephen Rosenfeld, PDA Executive Director Alan Minsky and PDA Advisory Board Member Mimi Kennedy. Then, please share the article on social media.

We’re horrified at the ongoing oppression of immigrants and asylum seekers. Our immigration policies have long needed fundamental reform.
Click here to tell Congress to defund and abolish ICE, to quickly pass the bipartisan Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act, and to end inhumane and deadly abuses against immigrants and asylum-seekers.
Tell Congress To Support The USPS During This Crisis! We need the Post Office to ensure delivery of medications and other necessities, as well as to allow secure, accurate vote-by-mail for primaries and the general election.
Want to help elect progressives and with our other organizing? Contact Mike Fox and he’ll keep you busy. Can’t volunteer? Then pitch in whatever you can to help support our ongoing COVID-19 emergency response, and our mobilizing for policies we need to upgrade our healthcare system.
We can’t go back to business as usual after the pandemic crisis is over. We’re organizing now for the post-COVID-19 world. That’s why PDA supports the comprehensive Green New Deal agenda.
To ensure our immediate and long-term survival, we need a Green New Deal. Help us support policies to create millions of new, highly paid, sustainable jobs, to build critically needed infrastructure, to free ourselves from household debt, and to enhance our social safety net.
We need an empowered, progressive mass movement to demand the policies and government responses needed to save lives and rebuild our shattered economy. We need your generous support to get there.
P.S.: We need your support right now to empower our mobilizing to elect progressive candidates.
