Now, Let’s Work Together to Fulfill Its Promise!

Joe Biden is now the President-elect and Kamala Harris will be the first woman and the first woman of color to be Vice-President! And Donald Trump is defeated. This is truly a historic moment!

Together, we have vanquished Donald Trump, and by doing so saved our Republic. We sent the entire world a message that right-wing authoritarianism will not defeat democracy!

PDA made a massive contribution over the past few months, working non-stop in coalition with our Progressive allies to get out the vote. At the end of the day, that is what won this election: Joe Biden’s 75 million votes says this was the most successful GOTV effort in American history.

Heartfelt gratitude to every one of the thousands of PDA volunteers and supporters across the country who helped achieve this victory. It is an honor to work alongside you.

Let’s take a moment to celebrate! Then, as we always do at PDA, we get back to work.

Together, we won’t stop until we’ve overcome the money-power and the reactionary forces in this country to fulfill its true democratic promise: a society with full equality and prosperity for all in harmony with the planet.
