Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) supports improved Medicare for All to guarantee a single standard of high-quality care for all without financial barriers, while saving taxpayers and consumers hundreds of $billions each year. This publicly-financed system would deliver healthcare to all—with no bills, no co-pays, no deductibles, and no medically-caused bankruptcies.

Polls show that nearly everyone who understands Improved Medicare for All supports Improved Medicare for All. We all have to work on getting the word out. It is a moral outrage for a country as wealthy as ours to leave 50 million people with no reliable access to health care and tens of millions more with inadequate and/or overly expensive coverage. Health care is a basic human right, codified in international declarations which the United States signed several decades ago. Leading economists and analysts have found that a Medicare for all / single payer-style healthcare program would save lives and money.
