Today, Higher Education Labor United (HELU) launches its Free Higher Education for All campaign with a conference in Portland OR. The opening plenary, featuring PDA’s Alan Minsky, is streaming live at 4pm ET/1pm PT today. You can watch it here.

PDA is part of the HELU coalition, just as it is a partner with Healthcare Now, who are hosting their annual Medicare for All Strategy Conference.  

For anyone who’s been told that the movement for a sane U.S. healthcare system (aka single payer universal healthcare) is moribund, you will have your spirits lifted by this conference that grows more inspirational every year, just as Medicare for All grows more necessary every day that the current rotten system persists.
