Join us TONIGHT, 8pm ET/5pm PT as we Debrief Super Tuesday, Revel in the Wins (Along with Kyrsten Sinema’s No-Go), and Lay Out Plans for the Next Victories Coming March 17. RSVP Now!
We’re glad to see some progressives making it through the Super Tuesday primaries, and thank you if you were in with us knocking doors, making GOTV calls, or helping in any other way that affected the outcomes.
Some great news to start with coming out of Texas: All of our Progressive Caucus Members (Lloyd Doggett, Greg Cesar, Jasmine Crockett, Veronica Escobar, Sylvia Garcia Joaquin Castro, and Sheila Jackson-Lee) will be on the ballot in the general in November! A perfect sweep, and several of the Democratic Primary winners look like Dems we can work with, even if they aren’t full-throated Medicare for All, Green New Deal, 21st Economic Bill of Rights, or Ceasefire supporters YET.
And Caucus members Valerie Foushee and Alma Adams in NC will also be on the ballot in November!
And while it’s still too early to call several of the races in California, Progressive Caucus members Jared Huffman, John Garamendi, Mark DeSaulnier, Jimmy Panetta, Judy Chu, Brad Sherman, Ted Lieu, Linda Sanchez, Mark Takano, Maxine Waters, Nanette Barragan, Sara Jacobs, Juan Vargas, Mike Levin, and potential future Caucus members Derek Marshall and Rose Penelope Yee have all made it through the primary as of this writing.
Like Rachel Maddow has been saying for months, the Supreme Court showed this week that defeating Trumpists/MAGA extremists is going to be up to us making sure that that sane vote gets out.
We will debrief Super Tuesday in more detail—with more results coming in from CA every day—and even more importantly lay out the plans for the NEXT victories coming up in other March primaries and beyond.
We hope you’ll join us! We’ll make sure to be wrapped by the top of the hour so that those who want to watch the State of the Union address can view/participate in both, live.
