Help These Great Candidates Win Their Primaries
May 17. Early Voting is Going On Right Now!
Join Our Organizing Zoom Tonight!
Here are four great progressives who need your support by voting for them by May 17 if you are in-district, and by donating and/or volunteering for their campaigns even if you aren’t.
Join our organizing zoom tonight, Tuesday, May 10, at 9pm ET/6pm PT.
Summer Lee (PA-12) is an inspirational progressive with massive momentum in her race for this open seat in Metro Pittsburgh. A member of the PA House of Representatives, Summer Lee fights the good fight everyday for working people and the planet. She has a well earned reputation for being one of the up-and-coming superstars of our national progressive movement. She won her State House race by beating a 20-year incumbent and doubling voter turnout in the race! Summer is 100% solid on our issues and exactly the kind of grassroots campaigner we love to support! Donate and/or volunteer.
Former State Senator Erica Smith (NC-01) is an accomplished public servant, and a powerful advocate for progressive policies such as Medicare for All and the Green New Deal—as well as for family farmers. Her quote on the front page of her campaign website speaks volumes about why she is a transformational candidate for the people of the district and the country: “We will come together, from small towns and farms across our district, to win this seat and deliver a New Deal for rural North Carolinians.” Donate or volunteer.
For over 20 years, Doyle Canning (OR-04) has been fighting for her community as a lawyer and community activist. Although she scores 100% on our questionnaire and is solid on all of our issues, she’s best known for her passionate advocacy on environmental issues, and will be a vocal champion addressing the climate emergency if we get her to DC. She’s a future Squad Member who deserves our support! Donate and/or volunteer now.
Jamie McLeod-Skinner (OR-05) is an emergency response coordinator, small business owner, engineer, attorney, and proud Democrat. She has focused her career on rebuilding communities and protecting our natural resources. A former union member with working-class roots, she is an outspoken advocate for climate justice, reproductive rights, racial justice, working families, and bridging the urban-rural divide. She’s worked on numerous boards, and in 2021 led wildfire recovery efforts as Talent’s Interim City Manager, bringing in millions of dollars in aid and emergency housing. Donate and/or volunteer now.
We need support from everyone nationwide to bring these vital wins home.
You in? Join our organizing call tonight!
Thanks so much for anything you can do.
