Get Energized And Organized For The Massive Nationwide Events For Voting Rights, 9pm ET Tonight!

In Senator Chuck Schumer’s words, the vote for cloture on the For The People Act on Tuesday was “the firing gun, not the finish line.”

There’s no question we can stand up to the Trumpist governors and state legislatures across the country that are trying to pass Jim Crow-style voter suppression laws and get the For the People Act passed by loudly proclaiming our support.

Our job: Let Senators and the media know that 80 percent of the American public support the protections laid out in the bill. That’s Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. The people want it passed. Republicans in the U.S Senate fear it.

And we’re going to give them more to fear as they head home for recess.
