Join us as we discuss issues, legislation, and actions we can all participate in to help make life better for all with disabilities.

Our Featured Speaker this month is Robin Jones. Robin has been the Director of the Great Lakes ADA Center since its inception in 1991. She’s also an Instructor in the Department on Disability and Human Development at the University of Illinois. She formerly served as director of the Progress Center for Independent Living and as an Occupational Therapy practitioner at the institution formerly known as the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.

She has extensive experience assisting individuals and covered entities to understand their rights and responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and we’ll discuss ways we can improve the quality of life of all folks with disabilities.

We’ll also cover how the upcoming elections can dramatically impact services available to the community.
