TOMORROW Join National Zoom Meeting On Protecting Voting Rights In 2020

Jun 8, 2020

In solidarity,

Mike Hersh for Alan, Mike F., Deb, Kimberly, Bryan, Dr. Bill, Dan, Donna, and Janis—your PDA national team.

Join Us For An Online Meeting:
Voting Rights During COVID-19

One person one vote is the essence of democracy, but as the primaries and caucuses draw near, our electoral systems fall far short of that ideal. During this all-important election year, we must make sure that every voter is allowed to vote without interference, and that their votes are counted accurately.

Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) was founded in 2004 to uphold basic progressive principles including free, fair, clean, and transparent elections. We’ve made some headway in preventing voter suppression, disenfranchisement, and election hacking—but we still have a long way to go.

You are cordially invited to the following:

Pitch In Each Month To Help PDA Protect Our Elections

During past election cycles, PDA’s founding Advisory Board member and renowned fair and accurate elections activist Mimi Kennedy has prepared voters’ “survival kits,” i.e. specific, concrete advice to help voters protect their rights and prevent their disenfranchisement.

Mimi asserts that only a well-informed voter is able to detect and overcome voter registration purges, unauthorized changes to their party affiliation, and other threats to participation in our democracy. Mimi has taken it upon herself to once again forewarn voters as the primary season rapidly approaches.

She urges you to check your registration status today and every Tuesday to ensure you’ll be able to fully participate in upcoming primaries and caucuses. This because glitches, errors, and premeditated high-tech efforts could compromise your right to vote!

Click Here to make automatic monthly donations to sustain our work for clean, fair, inclusive, and accurately-counted elections.

With your generous support, PDA will not only maintain our election protection efforts; we will also launch an ambitious new voter information and outreach campaign.

We’re already making plans to use traditional and social media, cutting-edge technology, and sheer hard work to push back against confusion, glitches—and yes—premeditated efforts that would otherwise disenfranchise voters during this most critically important election cycle.

We need your support for these efforts to succeed. Please pitch in generously now to sustain PDA’s ongoing and expanding work to ensure voters’ rights! We can’t do anything without you. We need your continuing commitment. Now is the time to invest in voting rights with automatic sustainer donations!
