Water Is Life! Please Sustain Our Organizing For
Our Survival By Making Automatic Monthly Gifts Now

Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) urges you to stay safe and healthy during the Coronavirus outbreak. Avoid large crowds, and take every precaution the health experts advise. During these trying times, life goes on. Even as we self-quarantine and cope with the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re keeping on with our day-to-day organizing as best we can.

Today is World Water Day, an annual, global United Nations (U.N.) sponsored observance to highlight the importance of fresh, drinkable water and to advocate for sustainable management of freshwater resources. This year’s theme, “Water and Climate Change,” explores how water and climate change are inextricably linked.

Help PDA Protect Water And Stop Climate Change
By Making Automatic Monthly Gifts To Make Progress

One of the most significant, yet ignored, impacts of climate change is its disruption of the water cycle.

With all eyes and ears focused on the coronavirus pandemic, it is far too easy for other complex and imminent disasters to slip past our collective awareness. With your help and sustained support, PDA continues our mission.

We’re working with allies on multi-layered, inter-connected campaigns to raise awareness, promote policies, and elect progressive leaders brave enough to champion solutions to the tough challenges that face us.

Simply put, without sufficient and accessible fresh water, people die. Please support our ongoing work with a monthly gift of $20.20, $10, $5, or whatever you can afford.

The Trump administration’s deregulation, inaction on needed infrastructure upgrades, and relaxation of limits on contaminant levels exacerbate health crises in places such as Flint, Michigan.

Trump’s outright hostility to conservation—especially for wetlands that protect against erosion, filter pollutants, and mitigate effects of extreme water events—open the door for increased damage and mortality from natural and man-made disasters.

Water is life, and PDA is fighting for life—yours, ours, and the planet’s. Support our efforts with a monthly gift of $20.20, $10, $5, or whatever you can afford.

P.S.: Your automatic monthly donation of $20.20, $10, or any amount helps PDA advocate for progressive policies—on World Water Day, and every day.
