National Call: “What We Must Do To Win The Climate Emergency”

You are cordially invited to participate on a groundbreaking, silo-shattering, inclusive, intersectional conference call to discuss the next stages in the mass mobilization to Win The Climate Emergency, TODAY Thursday January 30th. (Sorry for late notice).

On the call, experts and leaders will present the latest in movement building, achievements, and objectives. I will discuss the powerful impact Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) has had working with grassroots activists to lobby and hold briefings on Capitol Hill.

Alongside our coalition partners, we’ve helped bring on more than 90 House cosponsors to the Climate Emergency Resolution.

Since our founding in 2004, PDA has been organizing to cope with the Climate Emergency. Today, we’re calling on PDA climate activists to help spread the word!

We’re joining with national allies to brainstorm about how to expand and unite the Climate Emergency coalition to enact the legislation and regulations we need to prevail over climate deniers, corporate lobbyists, and other obstructionist forces.

We’re mobilizing with everyone we can, with the sense of urgency this emergency requires. Join the call to find out how you can get involved!

Our challenges are daunting. There are currently hundreds of overt or tacit climate deniers in Congress, as well as Trump—who claims that climate change is a hoax—presiding over the Executive Branch. The Climate Emergency is an existential threat. We must act now and stay active until we exile climate denial to the trash heap of history.

Please click here to sign up with Mike Fox as a Climate Campaign Volunteer. We unite and expand our movement and demand a 100% clean energy future and an end to all subsidies for Big Oil while we enact a Green New Deal and remake our economy and society to end Climate Change, Environmental Injustice, Poverty, Homelessness, and Joblessness. Together, we can and will achieve a better world for all.

We’re here to help you make progress in your state and locality! If you need help organizing a new PDA chapter or energizing your existing chapter, please contact PDA Field Director Dan O’Neal.

So much of our ongoing organizing is on social media. Share PDA’s posts, tweets, etc. on social media. We need your help to spread the word! Contact Online Media Director Janis Kay to Get Involved.
