This Sunday: Organized Labor on the Rise, A Cause for Celebration. RSVP Now!
Join us this Sunday at 4pm ET/1pm PT for a special Labor Day Weekend Town Hall. We’ll hear from PDA’s own Donna Smith, a veteran of the Labor Movement, and Sen. Nina Turner, who leads a nationwide organization that works in coordination with unions to strengthen organized labor in 21st-century America, and learn about ongoing organizing campaigns across the country!
On this Sunday’s Town Hall, as we continue to look forward to, and organize for, the general election, we will pause to celebrate what is certainly the greatest accomplishments for the American left since the rise of progressivism with the 2016 Sanders campaign—the re-emergence of a powerful organized labor movement!
Indeed, organized labor is back, ready to rumble, and win! It’s of, for, and by the working class—becoming a prosperous middle class once again—and PDA is 100 percent in solidarity.
As PDA just had, with Progressive Central 2024, its most spectacular success over the past half-decade, it is incumbent upon us to use our growing influence wisely. There’s no better way to do that than to call upon all progressives—regardless of whether they have ever been union members—to become active participants in supporting unions and, thus, practicing true solidarity with American workers.
On this week’s Town Hall, we’ll discuss once again, how PDA can best support the labor movement, as well as how we can join with organized labor in delivering victories for democrats across the country and in the electoral college this fall.
Join us this Sunday for our Solidarity Town Hall at 4pm ET/1pm PT. RSVP Now!
We hope to see you!
