Join us this Sunday at 4pm ET/1pm PT when two of our greatest progressive leaders, Rep. Ro Khanna and Alex Lawson, will share their thoughts on the damage being wrought by the Trump administration, how we can contain the devastation, and why presenting an inspiring vision grounded in progressive policies is the pathway to victory!

Representative Ro Khanna (CA-17) returns to PDA’s Town Hall this Sunday to explain how we can transform America into a modern manufacturing and technology superpower with good-paying jobs, affordable childcare, and investment in public education.

Ro is the co-author of the bipartisan CHIPS and Science law, that strengthens semiconductor manufacturing and innovation here at home. He has also traveled across the country to hear directly from Americans in places left behind, as he works on policies to help revitalize those communities.

Two recently laid-off manufacturing workers, Chancie Adams and Quentin McCurty, whom Ro met in Milwaukee WI, will join him on Sunday’s Town Hall. Chancie and Quintin were both longtime employees at the Master Lock factory, earning high wages with good benefits and job security–or so they thought, until the company shut down its Milwaukee factory after 100 years and moved production offshore. Chancie and Quintin will explain how Master Lock had been a pillar of the community, employing 400 people. Its closure was devastating for themselves, their families, and left a hole in the heart of a great American city

Rep. Khanna will also talk about his upcoming “Benefits Over Billionaires” tour, which begins on March 23rd in three purple districts in California–the 22nd, the 40th, and 41st. He wants to make clear that as Republicans follow orders to dodge their constituents’ protests, progressives must be loud and clear in standing up to the unholy alliance of wealth and power in our time and reject the failed neoliberal policies that value billionaires and corporations over the working class.

Then, Alex Lawson from Social Security Works will join us to demystify the actions of Trump, Musk, and their whole anti-American team, and explain with crystal clarity what they intend to do to the most popular government programs in the history of the country: Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and many others.
