The Trump administration has wrought havoc with the core fabric of American democracy, caused more than 209,000 deaths from a poorly managed response to COVID-19, left millions of people out of work or without food and shelter security, allowed gun violence and systemic racism to spread unchecked, shredded our environmental policies and safety nets, harassed and degraded immigrants and asylum seekers, torn families apart, emboldened authoritarian regimes around the world, increased wealth inequality, and fostered intolerance and incivility at every opportunity.
