We Stand With Maxwell and Will Do More than Think and Pray to Stop Gun Violence NOW!
A day doesn’t pass without deaths from gun violence in this country. The recent mass shootings only add to our national disgrace and need for real action, not thoughts and prayers, now!
Freshman U.S. Representative Maxwell Frost has been a gun safety advocate since he was 15 years old, and now as the youngest member of Congress he has introduced his first bill—along with Senators Chris Murphy (D-CT) and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT)—to establish an Office of Gun Violence Prevention in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
The Office of Gun Violence Prevention Act would “bring together those most impacted by gun violence with leaders across federal agencies to advance policy, collect and report data, expand state and local outreach, and maximize existing programs and services related to preventing gun violence.”
We must do all within our power to stop the senseless killing, now!
Thank you so much for anything you can do.
In solidarity with a safer world for all,
Mike Fox for the PDA National Team
