Sunday Progressive Town Hall: Ending the Primary Season on a High Note
In solidarity,

Join us on Sunday at 4pm ET/1pm PT for PDA’s Weekly Progressive Town Hall
Featured guest: PDA-endorsed candidate Maxwell Alejandro Frost, two days before his primary election in Central Florida
With all that’s going on in the country and the world, it’s been easy to lose track of how progressive candidates have fared, on balance, in their primary match-ups against moderate, pro-corporate Democrats over the past six months. This Sunday we’re going to review the results so far—and while we certainly lost some races we really wanted to win, the overall picture is very promising for progressives. We overcame incredible, unprecedented disadvantages—and still we won more races than anytime in the past half-century.
Given that good news, we’re going to spend some time talking about the future for progressives—both long term and short term.
Progressives are no longer the underdog upstarts. That means we have to start producing tangible results, passing legislation and transforming public policy (whether at the local, state or Federal level). That means winning ever more elections over the next five to ten years, and winning in neighborhoods and regions where we haven’t competed, let alone triumphed yet. With success comes new challenges, indeed. Over the next five to ten years, we will have to continually raise the bar—even as status quo forces will become ever more intent on defeating us—but each victory will make us stronger and confirm our sense that history is on our side.
Which is why our immediate priority is Florida’s 10th district and lifting our guest speaker, Maxwell Alejandro Frost, to victory on Tuesday.
Join us this Sunday at 4pm ET / 1pm PT. RSVP here.
Hope to see you!
