Sunday: Congressional Candidate Elizabeth Guzman plus a Report Back from The Sanders Institute Gathering in Vermont: RSVP Now!
Join us Sunday at 4pm ET / 1pm PT for a Town Hall with PDA-endorsed Congressional Candidate Elizabeth Guzman; also, after spending an inspiring week-end at The Sanders Institute in Vermont, PDA Executive Director Alan Minsky is feeling optimistic about progressive prospects in 2024 and beyond.
RSVP Now to find out why
On Sunday’s PDA Town Hall, we’ll hear from an inspiring progressive, and discuss why the progressive agenda can inspire the American people and revive our democracy.
Elizabeth Guzman is a true working-class hero. She immigrated to the United States from Peru just 25 years ago. In order to survive and raise her daughter, Elizabeth held down multiple jobs and worked her way through college and attained multiple Masters Degrees. She became an accomplished social worker and immigrant rights advocate.
When Donald Trump was elected President, Elizabeth knew she had to do more. She ran for the Virginia House of Delegates and upset a 16-year incumbent. In the State House, Elizabeth maintained her phenomenal work ethic. She introduced over 100 pieces of legislation in just over two years.
When Elizabeth’s Congressperson, Democrat Abigail Spanberger, announced that she was not running for re-election in the 7th, she threw her hat in the ring. As the true progressive in a very crowded field, Guzman has a good chance of winning the primary. We would be blessed to have her on Capitol Hill!
Come meet Elizabeth this Sunday at 4pm ET / 1pm PT.
Also, PDA Executive Director Alan Minsky will explain why last weekend’s Sanders Institute conference in Burlington, Vermont, reconfirmed his understanding that the progressive movement has the correct policy prescriptions for America in the 21st century.
See you on Sunday. RSVP Now!
