Sunday at 4pm ET: Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, U.S. Senate candidate from Michigan
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, a PDA-endorsed candidate for the U.S. Senate from Michigan, will be the featured guest on this week’s PDA National Town Hall, Sunday at 4pm ET/1pm PT. RSVP here.
Progressives are on a roll, winning Democratic primaries from coast-to-coast, transforming the Party and the entire national political dialogue.
The pundits in the national press are perplexed. How can this be? The Democratic Party was already too far to the left, they plead. What do they want Socialism?
Well, yes, that does seem to be the case, but very few people are voting for a word or a theory. What voters want are solutions: They want candidates who can explain clearly why their proposals will solve the problems vexing people and making their lives difficult. They want elected officials who will fight relentlessly to make change, to disrupt the status quo whenever necessary (and that’s often).
In short, progressives are winning because we have the solutions people support as well as brilliant, dynamic candidates.
This Sunday, PDA’s featured guest, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, is top tier.

No one – not Zohran Mamdani, not Bernie Sanders, not AOC – is more eloquent when describing the many ways that the progressive agenda will improve people’s lives and strengthen the fabric of society. Of course, as someone practicing medicine in the United States, never is Dr. El-Sayed more fierce than when summarizing the inhumanity of America’s profit driven healthcare system, never is he more rhapsodic than when describing the advantages of a free-at-the-point-of-service universal single-payer system.
So, join us this Sunday at 4pm ET/1pm PT to meet one of the the country’s greatest progressive champions, and the next Senator from the great state of Michigan, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed. RSVP here.
With Solidarity,
Alan Minsky
