Straw Poll Results
In solidarity, Alan Minsky for Deb, Mike F., Mike H., Janis, Dan, Dr. Bill, Kimberly, Bryan, and Shayna—your PDA National Team
Progressive Democrats of America (PDA)’s Presidential Straw Poll closed at midnight (EST) after three days. Over 1500 votes were cast (which makes it a larger sample size than most national polls). Here are the results: a landslide victory for the Senator from Vermont!
The breakdown of the PDA Presidential Straw Poll vote:
Bernie Sanders 64%
Elizabeth Warren 12%
Kamala Harris 8%
Amy Klobachar 3%
Cory Booker 2%
Tulsi Gabbard 1%
Marianne Williamson 1%
Julian Castro 0%
Kirstin Gillibrand 0%
John Delaney 0%
Of course, back in 2014 PDA became the only national organization to call upon a relatively unknown Senator from Vermont to run for President. That’s just one example, among dozens, of how PDA has been ahead of the curve, leading the way as the Progressive movement has grown to become a powerful force in American politics.
Help us continue to be the Progressive trailblazer, on issues like Healthcare, the Climate Emergency, Voting Rights, Economic and Social Justice, U.S. Foreign Policy, and every other significant issue of our time—including battling the Trump Regime at every turn—by becoming a PDA Sustainer.
While some of our kind activists give $100, $350, and even $500 every month, any amount—even $5 or $10 per month—will make a big difference as we fight the progressive fight. Please sign up to support progress now.
We need your sustaining support now. Please give $27, $20.20, $12, $10, or $5 as a monthly giftto keep our staffers working and our volunteers supplied with the materials they need to advocate for policies we all care about. If you can give $5 per month, that’s great! $10? Wonderful! $25? Spectacular! Whatever is good for you is great for us. Thanks so much for anything you can do right now to help us reach our sustainer goal.
