Tell Congress To Demand A Ceasefire

Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) opposes wars and occupations. We believe all people should be free to live as they wish so long as they don’t harm others. The government the USA installed in Iraq has mobilized military forces against Kurds in the area around the city of Kirkuk, and we’re concerned fighting will escalate into another shooting war in the Middle East. This situation is coming to a head now. Reliable reports warn that Iraqi forces have unleashed an assault on the area surrounding the Kurdish-held city of Kirkuk. US diplomats have been seeking to prevent this situation from boiling over into another war in the Middle East. It’s critically important that the Congress pass a joint resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire before the situation deteriorates further.
