Send an email to Congress re: H.R.3029
Combating Trump’s Voter Suppression Commission Act
Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) was founded in 2004 to stand up for important policies including clean, fair, and transparent elections. We’ve joined several allies advocating for the People’s Platform during the Summer for Progress. The proposed Trump election commission is a threat to voting rights. Trump’s proposed voter commission would be an all you can eat buffet for hackers and identity thieves, and that’s assuming we can trust the Trump, regime not to misuse our personal information! That includes your name, address, date of birth, and at least part of your Social Security number.
Click here to contact your representative and ask him or her to cosponsor H.R.3029 the Combating Trump’s Voter Suppression Commission Act.
Then, sign up here to be a part of our visits to local congressional offices during the August Congressional recess to support the People’s Platform,
Also, sign up for the webinar tomorrow, Sunday July 30, 2017 4PM PT/ 7PM ET to learn more about how we’re going to stand up for voting rights and much more through the Summer for Progress.
In-person voter fraud is virtually nonexistent. Voter suppression is a very serious problem. The proposed Commission on Election Integrity would do nothing to promote voter integrity, but would exacerbate voter suppression. Please urge your representative to cosponsor Rep. Veasey’s H.R.3029, the Combating the President’s Voter Suppression Commission Act.
In solidarity,
Mike Hersh for Donna, Mike F., Judy, Mike H., Janis, Dan, Deb, Kimberly, Dr. Bill, and Amos—Your PDA National Team
P.S. Watch an eye-opening video about “fraction magic” vote rigging, and sign up with our phone team to make important calls from your own home. No time to make calls? Please donate now to help PDA and our allies stand up against Trump and his malignant policies.
