PDA Supports the Women’s March 2020
Please Support PDA

January 21, 2017, marked the first Women’s March, an event that spread around the world. PDA supported and helped organize many marches in the U.S. Almost four years later—BEFORE the 2020 election—women are taking to the streets on October 17 in socially distanced events with a broad mission:

The mission of Women’s March is to harness the political power of diverse women and their communities to create transformative social change. Women’s March is a women-led movement providing intersectional education on a diverse range of issues and creating entry points for new grassroots activists & organizers to engage in their local communities through trainings, outreach programs and events. Women’s March is committed to dismantling systems of oppression through nonviolent resistance and building inclusive structures guided by self-determination, dignity and respect.

We ask you to take to the streets again on October 17. Show solidarity with our sisters around the world in pursuit of transformative social change in solidarity with Ruth Bader Ginsburg and in opposition to Trump’s sexist and racist actions. Use this link to find a Women’s March near you.

You know—we know—it’s not enough to march. Each one of us must vote and encourage others to do so, volunteer to help elect progressive candidates committed to transformative change, and provide resources for organized resistance to authoritarianism, racism, misogyny, hatred, and intolerance.

PDA organizes, agitates, advocates, and leads efforts to elect progressive officials and promulgate progressive policies 24/7, day in and day out, year in and year out. Billionaires don’t fund our efforts. We rely on your generous gift of $50, $20.20, $10, or $5 to continue and expand our work…for all of us, for a more just and equitable future.

Thanks so much for anything you can do.
