Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) believes in #MedicareForAll (MFA) for the same reason most of us believe in #COVID19 testing for all, and contact tracing for all, and safe effective vaccines for all as soon as they exist.

We know that national improved and expanded MFA, with no copays, deductibles, or out-of-pocket medical bills, and no restrictive provider networks, and high standards of care and provider reimbursement, guaranteed by we the people not they the corporate boardroom, is what is needed for an ailing nation, especially now that we’re being ravaged by pandemic.

In particular, those most adversely and unjustly impacted, especially who live and work in our underserved BIPOC communities, and our frontline healthcare and other essential workers need MFA now, just as we all need a #GreenNewDeal now, not 5 or 10 years from now or even 1 or 2 years from now, before countless more lives are lost or ruined because too many so-called leaders will not lead now, when we most need them to do so.

Because at PDA we know that without the “for all” part of Medicare For All, we can’t possibly achieve #HealthcareJustice, and without justice there can be no peace. Help us in the struggle to find that peace.
