Join Us Sunday, 4pm ET/1pm PT with Medicare For All Champion/Congressional Candidate Amy Vilela

As May Day approaches, we at Progressive Democrats of America pledge to challenge the perverse politics of privilege that result in the United States being the world leader in #COVID19 deaths.

And we support candidates who get it, that our president and all elected public officials should follow the lead of scientists and public health experts who have said over and over again that #SinglePayer expanded and improved #MedicareForAll will save money, lots of money, and save lives, lots of lives, especially during times of crisis like this.

So, who are the candidates now running in the midterms who get it? Who of them have shown their understanding and conviction to this cause in their campaigns? And how can we help get them over the top, and elected into public office, where we can expect nothing short of greatness in their efforts in this fight for #HealthcareJustice?

One such champion for the cause, who is considered by many to be the country’s foremost advocate for Medicare For All, is candidate for Congress Amy Vilela, NV-01. Amy’s daughter Shalynne, tragically died due to “insurance issues” and Amy has made it her life mission now to fight so that no one else will suffer the same fate in this country.

PDA proudly endorses Amy in her run for the U.S. House of Representatives, and we invite everyone to come hear from Amy how we can help her campaign, in this week’s May Day PDA Progressive Town Hall, Sunday May 1st, 4pm ET/1pm PT. We’ll also be discussing how we can all help make Expanded and Improved Medicare for All a reality!
