Maxwell Alejandro Frost’s primary victory on Tuesday in Florida’s 10th district was one of the great moments for the progressive movement in recent years. Since 2018, AOC has been the highest profile young politician in the country. Of course, AOC is one of the most progressive members of Congress. Now, Maxwell bursts onto the national stage, eight years younger than AOC and from the next generation. Maxwell will be the first Gen Z Member of Congress—and he is as unapologetically progressive as AOC!

At this Sunday’s Progressive Town Hall, we will consider the implications of Maxwell’s victory, and we’ll be joined by the equally brilliant David Segal, running in a highly competitive open primary in Rhode Island’s 2nd Congressional District. So, we’ll be considering how we can best apply the exceptional campaign practices that lifted Maxwell to victory to campaigns like David’s and all of our PDA-endorsed candidates.
