Much Done, and Much More to Do:
Here’s How We Can All Help Bring Home Wins

First, thank you so much if you’ve been working with us over the past week. Your efforts are making a real difference, and you inspire!

As the phenomenon that is the Kamala Harris campaign unfolds, it’s amazing to see the record-breaking fundraising numbers, but we at PDA are even more impressed with the tens of thousands of volunteers signing up. We are first and foremost a grassroots action organization. We’re all about human beings talking to human beings to bring about progressive change, so we’re excited about the activity generated by the Harris campaign in an effort to defeat Trump, MAGA, and Project 2025.

We’ve spent the week working hard to bring home victories in primaries on Tuesday, and the first two weeks of August, as we come down to the wire for Raquel Teran in AZ-03, and Squad Members Cori Bush and Ilhan Omar.

We another successful Disabilities Issue Organizing Team Monthly Meeting on Wednesday, focused on telemedicine, and our activists have been in the street and in the suites working for social, economic, racial, and environmental justice and peace.

Join us as we build a brighter future, together!

Just an hour here or there talking to voters can make a real difference when it’s focused on a productive goal, like the primaries taking place right now.

Please pick one or more of these actions/projects, and let’s make some noise together!

1) Progressive Virtual Town Hall Sunday: Defeating MAGA and Project 2025 with Progressive Candidates and Policy Positions. We’ll look at the next 100 days—with special focus on immediate primaries—and how we can build progressive momentum and win big in November. Featured Guests: Squad Member Cori Bush with an update on her campaign, and the Rev. Dr. Janette Wilson of Rainbow/PUSH. We’ll also update our 20th Anniversary National Event, Progressive Central 2024, coming up during the DNC Convention in Chicago, and we’ll have more on breaking political news. You’ll leave energized, organized, and definitely more hopeful. We hope you’ll join us.

2) Campaign to Victory Call. Get plugged into our action plan and make a real difference! RSVP here.

3) Join the National Phone Team. Sign up with this juggernaut and make a real difference an hour here, an hour there, on your schedule. Sign up here, let us know what day you can set an hour aside, and we’ll get you cookin’ calling fellow PDA folks. We’ll make sure you’re doing something easy but productive!

4) Join the Congressional Liaisons Team. Join us to get all you need to do effective outreach to your Congressperson.
