Much Done, and Much More to Do:
Here’s How We Can All Help Bring Home Wins

Yet another busy week in PDALand.

Given this past week marked the 9-year anniversary of our founder/first Executive Director Tim Carpenter’s unfortunate passing at just 57 years old from cancer, we wanted to honor Tim’s unmatched passion and work ethic by making sure we were as busy as possible.

Between our Congressional Liasons call last Tuesday focused on Expanded and Improved Medicare of all, our Environmental Issues Organizing Team, AND our Disabilities Team organizing Wednesday night, our End Wars and Occupations team working on peace around the world, and our continued work for social, economic, and racial justice on all fronts, we think Tim would have been proud.

We may not be the biggest progressive political organization, but I would argue we’re the busiest!

Please pick one or more of these actions/projects, and let’s make some noise together. We need you with us today!

1) Progressive Virtual Town Hall Sunday: Defeating Trumpists with Progressive Candidates and Policies.  Featured Topic: Affordable Housing/Housing as a Human right. Streaming live from the big Affordable Housing conference in DC. You’ll leave energized and organized. RSVP here.

2) Join the National Phone Team. Sign up with this juggernaut and make a real difference an hour here, an hour there, on your schedule. Sign up here, let us know what day you can set an hour aside, and we’ll get you cookin’ calling fellow PDA folks. We’ll make sure you’re doing something easy but productive!

3) Become a local Congressional Office Liaison. Work with others in your area to promote progressive legislation. Sign up here and we’ll get you all the training you need to be successful.

4) For “Clicktivists”:

Thanks so much for anything you can do today for all our tomorrows.

In solidarity,

Mike Fox for the PDA National Team
