Much Done, and Much More to Do:
Here’s How We Can All Help Bring Home Wins

Many thanks if you were in the game with us over the past week. Your efforts are making a real difference!

We’re were beyond thrilled to have played a role in Squad Member Summer Lee’s big victory in her primary on Tuesday. We helped beat the wealthiest guy in PA who tossed in a minimum of $800K (final report not in yet) smearing Summer, but a great candidate/Congressperson and people power talking to voters scared off AIPAC and beat the other dark money and lies by over 20 points!

We also held one of our largest Disabilities Issue Organizing Team meetings on Wednesday, featuring the mental health care crisis in this country.

We also continued our work to combat AIPAC’s toxic influence on elections, to reform the Democratic Party from within, and to promote social, economic, environmental, and racial justice, and peace around the world, and at home.

Plus, we celebrated Earth Day and Arbor Day with action alerts, and don’t forget to plant a tree this weekend and send us a picture!

We’ll continue this work, seven days a week, and we hope you’ll join us in one or more of our actions coming up!

Just an hour here or there can make a real difference when it’s focused on a productive goal.

1) Progressive Virtual Town Hall Sunday: Defeating Trump and MAGA with Progressive Candidates and Policy Positions. Featured guest: future squad Member Jamie McLeod-Skinner. She’ll lay out her platform and road to victory. We’ll also be discussing our plans for our huge conference in Chicago during the Democratic Party National Convention, how you can participate from around the country, and more. You’ll leave energized, organized, and definitely more hopeful. We hope you’ll join us.

2) Congressional Liaisons Organizing Call Monday: the Road to Ceasefire Now! Join us to get all you need to do effective outreach to your Congressperson.

3) Join the National Phone Team. Sign up with this juggernaut and make a real difference an hour here, an hour there, on your schedule. Sign up here, let us know what day you can set an hour aside, and we’ll get you cookin’ calling fellow PDA folks. We’ll make sure you’re doing something easy but productive!

4) For “Clicktivists”—Sign/Share:

Become a grassroots co-sponsor of Elizabeth Warren’s Ultra-Millionaire Tax Act;
Sign if you agree: A vote for Trump is a vote against our democracy’s survival;
Demand the Democratic Party reject AIPAC;
Write letters to your members of Congress, urging them to support the nation’s first Climate Preserve associated with a National Park;
Sign the petition: The Jim Crow filibuster’s time is up. Eliminate the filibuster;
Sign the petition to pass the State-Based Universal Health Care Act;
Become a grassroots co-sponsor of the Stop Politicians Profiting From War Act now!
Tell Congress: Greedy tax dodging corporations must pay their fair share in taxes;
Sign the petition to President Biden: Keep your promise. Decriminalize marijuana;
Sign the Petition to keep fighting, and keep winning, for abortion rights;
More weapons and war aren’t the way. Tell Pres. Biden: Cut the Pentagon budget!
Sign the petition: End the death penalty;
Sign the petition: Ban single-use plastics;
