We’ve been fighting for peace, social, and economic, racial, and environmental justice over the past week, including calling for all Democratic candidates running for congress to sign onto our 21st-Century Economic Bill of Rights.

We also have our eye on the prizes in the March 1 primary in Texas, where Jessica Cisneros and Greg Casar will be new Squad members if we help bring home the victories for them.

• Progressive Virtual Town Hall Sunday: The Case of Julian Assange. Join host of Democracy Now!, and one of America’s and the world’s leading advocates for press freedom Amy Goodman, PDA Advisory Board Member and former President of the National Lawyers Guild Marjorie Cohn, USC Law Professor Jody Armour, and PDA Executive Director Alan Minsky for this essential Town Hall on freedom of the press and whistleblower protections. • Winning the First Primary in the Country, March 1. With Greg Casar (TX-35) and Jessica Cisneros (TX-28) we have two great Squad pick-ups we need to bring home. We need you in the game, regardless of where you live.
• Join the National Phone Team. Make easy calls from home to fellow PDA folks to ensure they’re in the know about important actions and candidates. We work 7 days a week, so whenever is good for you is good for us. Click here to join.
• Become a local Congressional Office Liaison. Work with others in your area to promote progressive legislation and end the filibuster in the Senate. Contact Danett to get involved. 
• For “Clicktivists”: Join Robert Reich and sign the petition to deplatform Fox News disinformation, stop the privatization of Medicare and prevent Members of Congress from Gaming Wallstreet. End the global Pandemic by supporting H.Con.Res 60. Sign the petition to limit the most polluting gas: Methane. Support the expansion of Social Security by becoming a grassroots cosponsor of the Social Security Act of 2021.
