Jamie McLeod-Skinner is exactly the type of leader we need in America in the 21st century.  She is an across-the-board PDA Progressive, promoting policies that address the needs of working and middle-class households while tackling the climate emergency. 

Jamie McLeod-Skinner is of, by, and for the people of the region. She’s a former union member from a working-class household, who has owned a small business, practiced law, and served as an emergency response coordinator—and as a local City Council member for over a decade! A powerful advocate for civil rights, Jamie was the first out Lesbian to win an election east of Oregon’s Cascades!

Jamie has also studied regional planning at Cornell and Government at Harvard—and brings a deep understanding of how we can strengthen our democracy and lift America out its crises through sound progressive policies. Jamie McLeod-Skinner will enter Congress in 2023, ready to make a profound contribution to the welfare of the people of Oregon, the nation, and the planet.

If that wasn’t enough, Jamie is running to unseat Kurt Schrader, one of the few Democratic House members who actively worked to undermine President Biden’s Build Back Better Agenda— not surprising since Schrader has been one the most conservative Democrats in the House for many years.
