Progressive Democrats of America is proud to endorse Doyle Canning for Congress in Oregon’s 4th District, an open seat because of the retirement of longtime Representative Peter DeFazio.

Doyle Canning is an exceptional candidate and will be a great Member of Congress.

Doyle is an across-the-board progressive, supporting policies that will improve the lives of poor, working, and middle class families–lifting up all of American society in process. Doyle is pro-M4A, pro-GND, and for the PRO Act! Doyle gets an A+ on civil rights, immigrant rights, and voting rights!

All of this would be enough for PDA to endorse Doyle, but what sets her apart and makes her campaign so essential is that Doyle comes to us from the environmental/climate emergency movement. As such, Doyle would be unique in the U.S. Congress. As climate science makes clear, we’re well past the point where we need people with Doyle’s background and commitment in the U.S. Congress–it’s incumbent upon all of us who care about preserving a livable planet for future generations to help Doyle win her race.
